Spintex is a suburb of Accra ,the capotal of Ghana ,
Spintex has some place closer to the barracks which is overcrowded with some youths sleeping outside stores and around the environs.
Due to this,the police issued a warning to them to move out of the place and get a better and safe place to stay before the 2020 election.
The youth refused and paid no heed attention to the command.
After the election The Military Police command came and demolished those improper buildings and asked them to move out.
They still decided not to go and on the 1st of December 2021, the policemen and soldies in anger decided to riot against them the youth also looked prepared and the fought to which some youths lost their lives and others badly injured.
As at now 2 lives have been confirmed dead.
